Hotel location talk and presentation - An extensive look into the art of photography. How to see and not just look, understanding the purpose of lenses and when to change them, using the F stop properly as well as observing natural light.
Practicing in the local area - Working around the sculpture park to practice f stop, lens use, composition, filtration and exposure techniques. We will visit the wonderful brasserie du Chateau and one the local towns to take more photographs of the ‘street’ variety.
Working with people in the landscape around the hotel’s gardens, parks and buildings to create ambience and photo story telling. Enlarged projection critique of guest's work and subsequent submission for printing and framing.
Driving locally or staying locally for general photographic opportunities and discussion with the tutors. Question and answer sessions and tips on improving equipment. Check out and departure by midday.
